Do you have an artistic side that you would like to share with others? Red Tail Ponds is offering a volunteer position for an individual to collaborate with the Redtail Ponds staff and Volunteer Program Coordinator to plan and facilitate arts and crafts activities for residents!

Key responsibilities include planning arts/crafts activities and working to procure the necessary supplies for the activity. The volunteer will have access to basic supplies and a small fund with which to purchase supplies. A qualified volunteer will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with an interest in arts and crafts. Knowledge of mental health is preferred.

Redtail Ponds staff will work closely with the Volunteer Arts and Craft Group Facilitator Service Provider to support the volunteer to have an understanding of the specific needs of the population. Volunteers will receive training surrounding group facilitation techniques, Housing Catalyst policies and procedures for Permanent Supportive Housing and Harm Reduction Models, and appropriate volunteer-resident interaction.
