Clinical Flow volunteer
An advocate for people with mental health/substance use problems that can guide &
support the client through the intake process. This advocate would help the person
understand and answer the forms required as requested by the client during the first
part of the intake.
Must be detailed oriented, courteous and compassionate but also able to efficiently expedite
the process.
Part time: Half day or full day
Friday’s : North Port Hours: 8:45 am to 2 pm.

Description
Coastal Behavioral Healthcare is the largest provider of behavioral health services in Sarasota County. Coastal also provides specialized behavioral health services in surrounding counties. Coastal has been providing services to Sarasota County, particularly Sarasota, North Port, Englewood, Venice, Osprey and Charlotte County since 1971.
Each year, our programs impact the lives of more than 7,000 plus people as we help abused children overcome trauma, teenagers recover from substance abuse, and individuals of all ages triumph over mental and physical illnesses.
Our current initiative "Saving the Next Generation" focuses on our children's programs, core services and MOM"s (Maternal Outpatient Mental Wellness) program for pregnant women and nursing mothers.
