ORGANIZATION: Center for Financial Empowerment

We are looking for volunteers to play the role of merchants at the Mad City Money event. The merchant is responsible for one of the following tables: Big Wheels, Fun Stuff, Fickle Finger of Fate, My Closet, Mad City Mall, Kid Care, Really Realty, Gotta Eat and Home Stuff. The students rotate from station to station making purchases and trying to stay within a budget.

The Center for Financial Empowerment is a non-profit charitable agency that provides financial education and improvement programs for underserved youth in the Greater Los Angeles area and Las Vegas. Through effective financial education and experiential learning, we help teens learn smart money skills to make better spending choices, save money, avoid credit problems and achieve financial stability.
