EFPN Pantries Need Volunteers
Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network
The Midland County Emergency Food Pantries HELP Pantry at Memorial Presbyterian Church ,1310 Ashman, and the SAMS Pantry at 503 S Saginaw Rd are in need of pantry workers. SAMS pantry is sponsored by St. John's Episcopal Church. The HELP Pantry operates Monday thru Friday at 12:45 to 3:30 pm. The hours for the SAMS Pantry are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 1:00-3:00 pm and Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays 9:15 -11:15 am. Volunteers serve 1-2 times a month. Both pantries are in particular need of Friday volunteers. The SAMS pantry is also in need of front desk workers to be at their pantry when the pantry is open. They are also looking for people to help stock shelves with food received from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan every other Tuesday, 11:30 am -1:00 pm.

The Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization established in 1983 as a cooperative effort among area churches and other organizations to provide a means of supplying food and supplies to people in Midland County who have emergency needs and are living near or below Federal poverty level income guidelines.
