Are you searching for something that will provide you with a strong sense of connection to others? Do you desire to be a part of something that will connect you to others in a way that nothing else has?
Volunteering for Great Lakes Caring as a hospice volunteer just may be the thing you have been searching for!
The main role of a volunteer is patient and family support. That looks like many different things! It can mean...
- Sitting with a hospice patient to allow family members a break
- Playing games with a hospice patient
- Pushing a hospice patient outside at the facility to enjoy the day
- Watching TV, story sharing, reading to the hospice patient
But one thing is always the same......being there!
If you have just a few hours a week to build a relationship that will enrich your life and the life of a hospice patient. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Jennifer Rosenbrook at Great Lakes Caring Hospice: 517-936-1417 or email: jrosenbrook@greatlakescaring.com
