Arts for Humanity! will be providing our Create a Costume & Portraits for Youth booth at several upcoming events. We are looking for volunteers to assist at the booth, and for photography and videography volunteers to help take some photos/footage.
Arts for Humanity! provides creative arts programs free of charge to local social service agencies and at local public events - where youth are invited to create costumes and have their portraits taken. We offer opportunities for children and teens of all backgrounds to explore their creativity and interact with each other as they explore a plethora of costumes and props for creative costuming and imaginative play.
These are the events and dates:
- Family Fiesta with RiteCare, Saturday July 27th
- Goleta Lemon Festival, September, Saturday & Sunday 28th-29th
- Down Syndrome Association of Santa Barbara County Hoedown, Saturday October 5th

Description
AH! Arts for Humanity! is a performing and visual arts outreach group that integrates the talents of local community members and youth, including disadvantaged, and emotionally and developmentally disabled. AH! has provided services to many local organizations such as: CALM, Casa Serena, Alpha Resource Center, and County Mental Health.
Founded in 1997, Arts for Humanity! is a Santa Barbara based non-profit organization that empowers at-risk youth, persons with disabilities, and the elderly through dynamic performance and visual arts programs. In partnership with local artists, talented student interns, professional staff and various local non-profit groups, our transformational arts programs cross generational, socio-economic, and even the boundaries of physical and developmental limitations to make the arts accessible to everyone. Arts for Humanity! works to cultivate creativity in a world where the arts are integral to our lives and accessible to all.
