Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Bethany Christian Services

We are looking for a male volunteer, couple, or family (ideally Spanish-speaking) to mentor a 19-year-old male youth from Honduras who has a developmental delay that causes him to function at more of a 13-year-old level. He is currently living in one of Bethany's group homes. He demonstrates very limited life skills and daily living skills and a limited understanding of safety. This youth is very friendly. He is very engaged in conversation and has an agreeable disposition. He loves soccer and wishes to attend church.

This youth has a history of childhood sexual abuse. He has high mental health and cognitive needs. He has no family members in the U.S. willing or able to care for him.
