ORGANIZATION: CELEBRATION CHRISTIAN SERVICES OF PA

CCSPA is a non profit faith based organization, and has been in existence since 2016. We are currently located in King of Prussia PA. As we move into our 4th year, we are seeking volunteers to help CCSPA go from start up to a public non- profit charity organization.
Our primary mission is to enhance the lives of those who are underserved in the PA & NJ communities. We provide resource information for healthcare, housing assistance, health/wellness, senior care, life skills for youth and mental health concerns. We plan to expand our service area to also provide credit counseling in 2019. All of these areas are vital for improving living standards within our neighborhoods. We all know someone who can benefit from information and assistance!
We are seeking volunteers to help expand our reach into the underserved communities and bring forth ideas & experience for the future of CCSPA. We are seeking those who have a heart to help and a sensitivity to the needs of others. We need innovative and motivated individuals who can commit their time and energy to the fight for better communities and quality of life improvement for all those in need. Physical requirement: Attend 5 conference calls (1-1.5 hours) and 2 meetings in person. No specific education is required.

Mission Statement

CCSPA is a direct provider of social services to at risk and vulnerable populations and an indirect provider by partnering with social service providers and like minded agencies in the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington area. Our mission is to serve those communities in need with financial literacy services, healthcare awareness, resources for social service assistance. We also partner with other non-profit groups that serve to uplift people in communities that are underserved.

Description

The targets populations of the outreach of CCSPA social services includes but is not limited to:

  • Elderly Citizens

  • Racial and Ethnic Minorities

  • Immigrants

  • Members of All Religious Groups

  • Disabled (Limited, Physically or Mentally Challenged)

  • Active and Former Military Service Members

  • Low-to-Moderate Income Consumers or people on low fixed income

  • Citizens on Public Assistance

  • People with Limited Education

  • People who are under ot who have been under financial distress

  • People who have been or were Incarcerated

  • Students and Young Adults (K-12 and College)

  • Children Designated as "At Risk"
