Zoo Boo at the Detroit Zoo is our annual "merry-not-scary" Halloween event for families. It occurs on the first 3 weekends in October. Visitors walk a ½ mile trail collecting treats and watching performances of extreme pumpkin carving, jugglers, storytellers and more.

Volunteers are needed to hand out treats along the trail. We ask the volunteers wear fun costumes or dress "fall festive." Volunteers must be at least 14 years old (accompanied by an adult) and complete a waiver of liability form.

For more information or to register, please contact Volunteer Services at volunteer@dzs.org or 248-541-5717 ext. 3802.

Note: The Detroit Zoological Society does not accept court-ordered community service volunteers.
