Brighten our hospice families' Thanksgiving by making small decorations for the table that will be delivered along with meals and lots of other goodies.

The story...

In 2000, one of our teen volunteers came up with the idea to provide fully prepared meals, table items, and a decoration to allow the families more time together on what may be their last holiday, and most likely their last Thanksgiving together, rather than worrying about cooking. Each gift is complete with meals, pie, cider, napkins, hand-made table runners/placemats, candy, cranberry sauce, and a decoration.

We invite you to participate in this beautiful event by creating the decorations. They can be small and simple and you can make as many or as few as you like. Check out Pinterest for lots of ideas.

Popular:
  • Pine cone, Hand, Paper Bag Turkeys
  • Cork Pumpkins (stacked, glued & painted to be a pumpkin shape)
  • Paper plate Wreaths

Anything you choose to do is greatly appreciated!

**Donations are due to our office, 3906 Church Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 by 4:30p on November 15th.**

Thank you for bringing some joy to Samaritan's patients and families!
