Join us in maintaining a trail along the canyon, so we can offer public hikes there in the fall. We'll be cutting back branches and removing plants that have grown up in the trail, as well as swamping cut branches (pulling them back into the woods away from the trail). We'll provide work gloves and tools, but feel free to bring your own if you have some you'd like to use.
Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable closed-toed shoes. You'll also want to wear long pants and long sleeves since we'll be pulling cut branches back into the brush, and may encounter some poison ivy as well. We recommend using bug spray, and we'll have some with us.
If you haven't volunteered with us before, please bring a signed waiver form: https://www.traviscountytx.gov/images/tnr/docs/bccp/volunteer-liability.pdf
If you are under 18 or bringing a minor with you, please fill out a minor waiver form, which requires a parent/guardian signature: https://www.traviscountytx.gov/images/tnr/docs/bccp/volunteer-liability-minor.pdf
