At the heart of Girls on the Run are amazing volunteers whose commitment and passion impact the lives of thousands of girls each year. We are in need of people just like you to make our 5K event a success!
Join hundreds of Girls on the Run participants for their celebratory season-ending 5 K event!
The Girls on the Run 5k celebrates a season of learning about the importance of taking care of our emotional and physical health, and training to complete a 5 K run/walk.
Volunteers will participate in multiple ways: equipment set-up, water stations , greeter/crowd control, registration and more.

Description
Girls on the Run Central Florida is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Girls on the Run combines training for a 5K (3.1 miles) running event with healthy living education. Our programs instill self-esteem and strong values through health education, life skills development, mentoring relationships, and physical training - all of which are accomplished through an active collaboration with girls and their parents, schools, volunteers, staff, and the community. Girls on the Run Orlando is a program of Track Shack Foundation and an affiliate council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of over 160 locations across the United States and Canada.
