Make it Mar Vista celebrates these small businesses that are the backbone of our community. These include brick and mortar shops, home based businesses and local artisans.

Join us for an afternoon of fun! The theme is: Winter Wonderland. We’ll close the street to set up a neighborhood festival featuring a kids fun zone, pampering area, a DJ and stage performers and lots of small businesses, artisans and food/drink vendors. This event is in coordination with the Mar Vista Art Walk which will occur at the same time.

Volunteers are needed for 2-4 hour shifts in all areas of the event, including setup and breakdown, information booth, parking, photo booth, kids areas, stage, games and other areas. Go to http://signup.com/go/EFHgzPT to see all volunteer opportunities and sign up.

As an American Express Neighborhood Champion, the Mar Vista Chamber of Commerce seeks to encourage residents to support small businesses in their community. Small businesses provide 55% of the jobs in the U.S. They give back to the community through financial and volunteer support.
