ORGANIZATION: Thomas House Temporary Shelter

Primary Function: We are looking for a dedicated intern/ volunteer to provide quality support to the Development Manager in order to ensure the success of Thomas House Family Shelter's special events such as our annual gala and casino night. Responsibilities/ Tasks:

  • Provide logistical coordination of major fundraising events
  • Professionally work with event committees
  • Acquire special event fundraising auction and raffle items
  • Responsible for professional working relationships with staff, board members, donors, and volunteers
  • Responsible for other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interest in event planning/ execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Schedule

  • Approximately 10-15 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule, hours may vary based on event need
