Sewing and Fabric Cutting Volunteers Needed for Holiday Gift Bag Fundraiser

Calling all sewing stars and crafting gurus! Volunteers are needed to help cut fabric and sew cloth gift bags leading up to Eastside Audubon's Holiday Gift Wrapping Fundraiser from December 16 - December 24. Our volunteers will be onsite at the REI in Issaquah selling these finished bags to raise funds for our education and conservation efforts.
Not a wiz on the sewing machine? No problem! You can help by cutting down pieces of fabric into assorted gift bag sizes to be sewn by other committee members. We will provide you with a template to help get you started and then you can cut the fabric from the comfort of your very own home.
The fabric cutting portion of the project will run from Oct 1 - Oct 24
The Sewing portion of the project will run from Oct 25 - Nov 30
Just let us know in the comments section when you sign up if you'd like to cut fabric or sew bags.

Our members enjoy studying our local flora and fauna through monthly field trips and programs.
