We are looking for a group of volunteers to help serve food and spread cheer at a Thanksgiving dinner!
Our supportive housing site in Brooklyn, 575 Fifth Avenue, is home to 50 formerly homeless or low-income residents who receive supportive services. Thanksgiving is a special time for residents to gather as a community, and we could use volunteers to help make the residents feel welcomed and at home.
A group of 5-7 volunteers can help set up, serve food, and engage with the residents. This event would take place during an afternoon the week before Thanksgiving.
This is a fun and meaningful way to make a difference around the holidays!
