Sonata Hospice is located in San Diego, Mission Valley area, but we have patients in Oceanside that would benefit from a volunteer visit. We are looking for a caring, kind hearted person, that likes people and would like to onboard to become a volunteer to visits our patients. Hospice can be a calling, but one that can be very rewarding and interesting. I will do my best to make the onboarding process as easy as possible. You will have to come to Mission Valley a couple of times, so after that I will drive to you. I will train you so that from the first visit to the last you are prepared and your kind and caring personality can shine with every visit.

Description
Sonata Hospice Volunteers are trained to meet the needs of families and patients by providing companionship and short-term respite care. These volunteers are hand-selected and trained. Following reference and background checks, these individuals complete extensive training prior to working with patients. Volunteers make things easier by offering caregiver relief’, companionship, sharing of special interests, letter writing, reading to the patient or help with errands. We are always looking for quality volunteers. Please contact us to learn more about how you can help bring comfort to those in need.
