As part of an ongoing effort to be a bright spot in the community we offer a 2 hour training on homelessness and advocacy. As an agency one of our goals is for the community to better understand those who are experiencing homelessness. This is great for volunteer groups who want to get out of the office for a few hours or want to learn something new about their community! Minimum of 7 people is required. The training is from 10:00AM-12:00PM and is followed by an hour in our Day Center to serve lunch and meet some of our clients.
To schedule this please contact us!

Mission Statement
"Homelessness brings about relational poverty - a disconnect from society and those around you. At CFH, we strive to provide the foundation for relationship - compassion, empowerment, respect and community to the men we serve." David Bowling, Executive Director Congregations for the Homeless works to end homelessness in East King County Washington by helping men to successfully make the transition from homelessness to permanent housing.
Description
Congregations for the Homeless offers men:
- a shelter program (including a day shelter, an emergency winter shelter, and a year-round shelter)
- case management & life coaching
- employment support
- a housing program
All of these programs work to give these men a real chance to successfully make the transition from homelessness to permanent housing and a stable, productive life.
