Preservation Society of Charleston continues to define its mission and programs in ways that meet the demands of preservation. We constantly search for new ways to educate and engage a diverse group of members, historic property owners, and the community.

Showcasing Charleston’s historic periods and architecture, the Fall Tours are one of the key parts in educating and extending our values to our guests.

For this reason, we are in search of dedicated volunteers whose time, effort, and knowledge will ensure the preservation of those things that make Charleston uniquely special. Volunteering with PSC will provide an enjoyable learning experience, including guest speakers, walking tours, appreciation reception, printed materials and access to online information.

This year we are looking for volunteers to serve in one or more of the following roles:

  • Street Marshals
  • Senior Docents
  • General Docents
  • Garden Docents
