Wanted: A Few Good Men- Mentor a child in need or be a friend to an adult with disabilities

Are you a man or know of a man who wants to make a BIG difference in another person's life? We have a great need for Men(21+) from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions as we have a long wait list of over 30 boys(6-18) in our Big/Little Program who are waiting for a mentor. We also have 25 adult men (18+) with disabilties in our Friend 2 Friend Adults with Disabilties Friendship program who are waiting for a friend.

"Bigs" are volunteer mentors, (21+) who spend 2-4 hours, 2x/month (mostly on weekends), and make at least a one year commitment. Hang out with a Little Brother. Enjoy doing a favorite hobby or activity together. Or participate in a pre-planned agency sponsored activity with other BIGS/Littles. Match support by experienced clinical match specialists who are there to help the match succeed. Kids in our programs become eligible for summer camp and college scholarships!

OR Volunteers (21+)can choose to be a Friend to an adult with disabilties and meet for a coffee, meal, or just hang out and talk. Friends meet just 1x/mo for a year and create their own schedules for any day of the week. Volunteering commitment is for at least one year. Match support by experienced clinical match specialists who are there to help the match succeed.
