The Autoimmune Registry is looking for passionate volunteers to provide on-site assistance with event space set-up, catering arrangements, greeting guests, distributing give-aways, and other responsibilities as needed for our fundraising event on November 27th 2018. The event will run from approximately 6:00-8:00 p.m., so we would like volunteers to arrive 4 hours beforehand and assist after the event. The funds raised from this event will go toward recruiting patients for autoimmune disease research. We could really use your help!

Mission Statement

Autoimmune Registry is a network of patient registries representing all autoimmune diseases, ARI provides a hub for research, statistics & patient data for all autoimmune diseases. Our goals are to reduce the time to diagnosis, speed research into treatments, and eventually cure and prevent these diseases, which cause the majority of chronic illness in the US.

Description

Autoimmune Registry, Inc., ARI, is a Connecticut-based 501(c)3 non-profit corporation founded in 2016 to create a hub for research, statistics, and patient data on all autoimmune illnesses.

We operate a national database for patients who suffer from any autoimmune disease. Our mission is to reduce the time of diagnosis, support research, compute prevalence statistics, and establish autoimmune disease as a major class of disease so that it receives the awareness of the public, the attention of healthcare providers, and the appropriate funding needed to improve upon existing treatment protocols and disease management strategies.

We also aim to become a trusted source where patients with these diseases can find credible, scientifically-supported information about their diseases, promising treatments in the pipeline, and accurate prognosis insights. Whenever necessary, we will redirect patients to our patient advocacy groups for further resources and information.
