Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado - Pikes Peak
El Paso County CO
Big Brothers Big Sisters is currently in its centennial year of serving the state of Colorado. Consider helping us continue our mission into the years ahead.
Big Brothers Big Sisters' programs serve youth by providing them with safe, quality mentoring relationships that lift them to reach their full potential by improving their sense of self and community, elevating their school performance, and capturing a brighter outlook upon their future.
The Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence has recognized Big Brothers Big Sisters as a "blueprint" program with proven positive results.
In the Colorado Springs area, BBBS currently has three major programs:
Sports Buddies, which site-based - groups of Bigs and Little participate in scheduled events related to athletics and being active.
Mentor2.0, which is our newest endeavor, and is for the benefit of the students at Atlas Preparatory High School.
If you'd like to make a difference in a local youth's life, and want more information on these volunteer opportunities, please reach out to us through this posting!
