Farming, Community and Fun!

As a collective effort to bring fresh, local produce to our shelters, housing sites, food distributions, and workshops, I invite you to sign-up for a Gleaning Day.

What is gleaning? Gleaning is the act of collecting leftover crops from farmers' fields after they have been commercially harvested or on fields where it is not economically profitable to harvest.

This project is in partnership with Farm to Pantry. We will pick and re-distribute otherwise wasted produce to make fresh, healthy delicious meals for the clients; from stem to mouth! (Year round volunteer opportunity)

Please join us in elevating the meals for our clients, reducing waste and increasing your own health and wellness by spending a day outside at a beautiful farm! We will pick produce by hand or tools provided at the farm.

We head out to the farms Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am-12pm.
