Optimize Google Ads - affordable housing project

Seeking support to improve our Google ad grant account.

We are a startup nonprofit utilizing the $10,000 a month Google Ads grant for 501(c)(3) orgs. We are using the ads to raise funds, to educate the public on what is really affordable for housing, and to implement innovative solutions to increase the availability of affordable housing.

We began our work developing the Care For Us web platform which was designed to make affordable housing that already exists available by enabling homeowners to find tenants without the overwhelming responses to housing ads. We are now focusing efforts on developing real property for permanently-affordable housing for residents at or below 80% area median income. To accomplish this, we need help raising funds and finding property. With your help, we can update our existing Google Ads account to reach out to people for these needs.

Qualifications for this opportunity:

  • Keyword knowledge

  • Have used Google Ads OR is a self-starter and can learn to use it without hand-holding

Mission Statement

Care Association plans, develops, and implements innovative strategies to alleviate economic burdens on lower- and middle-income households. We serve households in the United States that pay more than 30% of their gross income on housing or are transient because of lack of affordable housing. With the Care For Us web platform, we aim first to establish connections between households that are unable to compete in inflated real estate markets and homeowners who prefer to offer housing on their own terms. Secondly, we aim to connect and offer goods and services to those in need. Thirdly, we curate information and provide links to resources to inspire and enrich users’ experience.


Care Association operates by its motto, "Care is Kind. " While rising housing costs, rising education costs, and limited governmental progress suffocate the finances of millions of Americans, Care Association endeavors to alleviate hardships and aims to reduce the gap between those who have and those who don’t by providing a platform that enables care. Our pilot project is the CareForUs.us website, which aims to enable homeowners to find tenants to fill affordable vacancies without placing an ad. Allowing homeowners to get to know prospective tenants before signing a lease provides a more secure outlook, enabling them to consider reducing rent rates to accommodate lower incomes.

Care Association has provided goods and services to the public by volunteering time, expenses, and expertise.

Our activities have included:

  • Providing donated items to people and nonprofit organizations in need of them, such as used books for families and skills-learning tools for enrichment programs
  • Public workshops teaching emotional self-management skills
  • Advocacy for affordable housing

We have more than 50 years of combined experience in computer technology in the fields of publishing, marketing, website and content development, and systems administration. With our experience, we put technology into service for the good of humankind.
