The Event Management Team is crucial in executing the Des Moines Arts Festival. Our EMT members work closely with staff leading up to the Festival and then manage their specific areas, including load-in, load-out, volunteers, problem solving, etc. Essentially they are the eyes and ears of the Festival ensuring everything runs smoothly and our guests and participants are having a superior experience. EMT areas included:

2020 Festival dates: June 26-28

The Event Management Team meets as a group on a monthly basis February-June. Individual committee meetings may take place leading up to the Festival.

Description

The Des Moines Arts Festival is a free, three-day celebration of the arts on June 26-28, 2020, in downtown Des Moines' Western Gateway Park. The award-winning Festival features 180 professional visual artists, children's activities, live entertainment and much more.
