Tutor Children in the South Bronx- Orientation 10/2!
- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

We need YOU to come volunteer at historic St. Ann's Church, written about in Jonathan Kozol's books, and a corner stone of the Bronx community for 176 years. St. Ann's afterschool program provides a safe, educational, structures, fun and inventive atmosphere for 100 kids from the South Bronx. This program supports youth in their educational development by focusing on developing amazing reading, science, and math skills. St. Ann's is hoping to be able to pair each child with a mentor/tutor to help especially support their reading skills, but if you are interested in science or math as well- this is also a great opportunity for you!
This program runs Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:00pm and St. Ann's would like you to commit to at least one hour each week to come support the child you are paired up with! St. Ann's is also asking for at least a 3 month commitment of coming that one hour a week- but, anything beyond that is also welcomed! If time is tight- this is a great opportunity for you! The program runs from the beginning of September through the school year, but St. Ann's is accepting volunteers on a rolling basis. If this sounds like a fit for you, please inquire!
We will be holding a group volunteer orientation on Tuesday, October 2nd at 4pm, please email email@example.com to RSVP!
We'll work with your schedule.
