The Museum has year-round projects including internet research, inventory management, assisting at special events and helping with our boat. Skills required: interest in animals, maritime history, sailing and spread sheets.
Experience working in museums or classrooms desirable, but not required. College or advanced degree helpful.

Our mission is to celebrate and document seafaring animals throughout history. This includes gathering information about mascots and working animals from around the world. We present public programs and exhibits illustrating the role of these animals from ancient times to the present.
