On Wednesday, October 17, 2018, the Children’s Advocacy Center will host over 300 community leaders and partners at our annual Step Up & Speak Out benefit ( support.suffolkcac.org/stepup). And we are seeking volunteers to assist with registration, guest greeting, silent auction, a fundraising call to action, silent auction check out, and overall event support.
Some pertinent details about our event:
What: The 2018 Step Up & Speak Out Benefit for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County
Who: You! And over 300 community leaders & partners, including our 2018 honorees First Lady Lauren Baker, Robert Reynolds of Putnam Investments, and District Attorney Daniel Conley
When: Wednesday, October 17 from 6:30p - 8:30p (volunteer shift: 5:30p - 9:00p)
Where: UMass Club of Boston, One Beacon Street, 32nd Floor
Why: To raise support, awareness, and hope for child victims of abuse, neglect, and exploitation in our community. Since our event last year, the CAC has received over 1,700 referrals for services.

We are Suffolk County’s only not-for-profit organization that coordinates the efforts of child protection, law enforcement, prosecutors, advocates, medical and mental health experts under one roof.
We provide a prompt, sensitive, interagency response to child abuse so that every child and family can focus on healing.
