The Teen Volunteer Program Assistant helps facilitate Tigard Public Library's Saturday Teen Volunteer Program. Every Saturday from 10:30-1:00 Tigard Public Library welcomes Tigard teens ages 12-18 to volunteer at the library by shelving library materials and helping with program prep in Youth Services. The Teen Volunteer Program Assistant will onboard teen volunteers, organize teens into groups, lead teens during volunteer sessions, and keep teens on task. This is a really fun position that works in various divisions of the library. If you are someone who enjoys working with and mentoring youth in our community, this could be the job for you! The Teen Volunteer Program Assistant does not need to commit to every Saturday session. We are flexible! For more information, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Katie Nelson.
