We are a 501c3 nonprofit that relies on donations and grants to keep our services affordable for our participants. We also use a scholarship fund for those individuals that are unable to pay anything. We are in urgent need of someone with fundraising/development experience to work with our Development Director and spearhead various fundraising initiatives. We currently have a waiting list of individuals needing services and need funds immediately to expand and provide services and keep up with the rapid pace of referrals coming in weekly.

Mission Statement
To restore the quality of life that has been lost due to acquired brain injury such as stroke or traumatic brain injury. We help individuals relearn and improve thinking and communication skills needed to interact with others, live as independently as possible and return to active engagement within their community
Description
CCR was founded in 2014 due to a much-needed service that was lacking in our community. Stroke and TBI patients were not receiving the continual services needed to regain cognitive and communicative skills due to lack of funding. Most insurance covers a minimum number of rehabilitation visits and costs to continue therapy beyond insurance can be financially devastating to patients and their families. We created a unique and effective program providing low-cost short and long term rehabilitation services. We believe that rehabilitation has no time limit and have seen amazing cognitive and communicative improvement in the participants in our program. They are no longer isolated, learning to communicate once again, improving their memory, regaining problem solving skills, learning how to read and write once again and making friendships and creating a network of support. We provide goal-targeted sessions and classes daily and have a wonderful group of Certified Brain Injury Specialists, Cognitive Clinicians, therapeutic specialists and dedicated volunteers that make our program unique, special and effective.
