The American Cancer Society is in need of volunteers. If you have a desire to help others and are available two to four days each month, we can use your services. This volunteer role would be at the American Cancer Society office at 101 John James Audubon Parkway in Amherst.
At the Society office, we need people who are able to serve as receptionists; answering phones and greeting visitors. We also need help with large mailings and event related projects for Relay For Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and other community events. Computer experience is helpful, but not required. The only requirement is a pleasant personality!
