The computer literacy program at the Durham Literacy Center has a special need for computer tutors. No advanced computer skills necessary-if you got to this website, you have enough expertise!
If you are interested in this opportunity, please respond to the following questions:
1. What experience do you have teaching?
2. How many years of experience do you have teaching?
3. Do you have experience tutoring students one-on-one? Please elaborate.
4. What is your teaching philosophy?
5. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being not confident and 10 being very confident), how confident would you say you are to teach a class?
There may be opportunities to work with students on a one-on-one basis. If you are interested in that, please indicate in your response.
Our students are very dedicated, hard-working, and eager to learn. Looking forward to hearing from you.
