Volunteer to help Children with Disabilities learn to swim.

Do you love swimming? You do not need to be a swim instructor to help youth with disabilities learn to swim. Our certified instructors plan and lead our group classes. Volunteers work one-to-one with a child in the pool to help him/her develop confidence in the water and learn basic swimming skills.

Classes are held on Tuesday evenings. There are two classes each night. Volunteers can help at one or both. First time volunteers must attend a training class at John Glenn.

Dates: October 9, 16, 30 and November 13, 20, 27

Times: 5:45 - 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 - 7:15 pm

Training: Tuesday, October 2 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm Bring swimsuit and towel.
