Are you a social person who loves helping others? Sanctuary Hospice is looking for friendly and compassionate volunteers to help with administrative and clerical duties in our Independence Office. Assist with assembling admission packets, volunteer training materials, community networking and marketing needs, volunteer newsletter and daily office organization, data entry and mailings to patients and bereaved families. Required to complete volunteer application, background check, TB and training-provided FREE of charge. Description
Hospice Volunteers come from all walks of life, yet they all share a common desire-to enrich their own lives and the lives of others by giving generously of their time, energy and talents. Volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team. Once trained they may work in several areas: Administrative, Direct Patient Care Visitation for companionship and support, Bereavement support, Pet therapy, Music Therapy and many other Special Alternative Complementary services.
