Heart to Heart Hospice is looking for Livonia community members to join our team of volunteers. Our mission is to make a difference by providing compassionate care from our heart to enhance the quality of life for those with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones. You can help make that difference in your community by spending quality time with our patients. Visiting with our patients weekly or bi-weekly can increase their quality of life through their final life transition stage. Your visits can distract someone from their prognosis but can also provide friendship, compassion and a sense of well-being.

Activities that our clients typically enjoy are watching television together, talking about who they are and what they have done throughout their life, talking about their families, listening to music, discussing your day or life, playing games and so much more. Largely, we are looking for retirees, veterans, members of the community, passionate individuals wanting to experience hospice for the first time and those that are willing to connect with someone new.
