Castaways Pet Rescue is at PetSmart in Brunswick, GA every Saturday from 11-4 and we always need folks to come be an help with walking dogs, adopting dogs and cats and speaking with the public. Also, there is the hard work of loading and unloading all the adoptable dogs in and out of our transport trailer.

Castaways Pet Rescue (CPR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to community spay/neuter assistance, to community education on responsible pet care, and to facilitating adoptions of the stray and abandoned animal population.
Description
Our, small grassroots, 100% no-kill rescue is located in an impoverished community on the coast in Southeast Georgia. This area has a tremendous need for animal welfare education in our local schools as well as spay/neuter assistance. It is not uncommon to see dogs chained to trees with no water or food, nevermind shelter. Castaways mainly receives animals from local county-funded, open-admission shelters that consistently need space to prevent euthanisia. We are donor funded and struggle daily to make ends meet. All of our work is done by volunteers and no-one gets paid.
