Mission Statement

To operate an effective program for the LGBTQ+ and underserved youth that will provide opportunities for participation in recreational, cultural, social and civic activities to develop their potential to grow into healthy, educated, responsible and productive adults.

Description

Rainbows Reign is a federally recognized tax exempt nonprofit organization, under the US Internal Revenue Section 501(C)(3). Our physical address is 1918 Wrights Way, Jonesboro, GA 30236. My wife and I started this organization after learning how homelessness, HIV and other STD's are plaguing the youth in our city. We have two daughters ages 13 and 7 so for us this hit close to home. The concept behind Rainbows Reign is that each unique color(individual) leads you to your destiny, your "pot of gold". We are currently fundraising for our Gold Saturdays where we distribute hygiene bags to the homeless. We are also fundraising to purchase our first Rainbow House, which will house the homeless youth for up to 1 year until we are able to provide them with permanent housing. Since inception we have raised over $40,000 in just three short months. We look forward to working with our future community partners so that we can continue to expand our scope of reach.
