Partners In Care has amazing flexibility for our volunteers. You will receive a list of requests from other members in your area and YOU GET TO choose WHEN, WHERE, HOW AND WHO you want to help. Our volunteers are covered under our volunteer insurance and ALL MEMBERS whether giving or receiving help are vetted before membership is granted (i.e. criminal background checks etc.) We need drivers for medical appointments and shopping, Volunteers to make friendly visits to help prevent social isolation, help visually impaired members with things like mail, volunteers to make friendly phonecalls to check in, and office volunteers to help answer phones and perform minor admin tasks, and volunteer handymen or women to do simple home repairs and odd jobs that seniors are no longer able to do themselves.
All members are mobile and advocate for themselves. We perform neighborly tasks. WE DO NO Medical services. and NO WHEELCHAIRS.
