Roundup Fellowship is looking for handy help. We provide services to children in group home and educational settings. We frequently find ourselves in need of repairs throughout our facilities. This may range from help with yard work, plumbing fixes, lock changes, hanging mini blinds or curtains, painting, patching holes or dings in walls, securing wires, and a variety of other tasks.
We have a wonderful team of staff who focus on providing direct care and attention to children with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Any volunteers who work for our agency require a completed background check and will be offered the opportunity to receive training about our agency and our population. Having a truck for moving large items is a bonus but is not required for all volunteers.
If you have any interest in helping, please feel free to reach out to us for a tour and for additional details.

Mission Statement
Roundup Fellowship serves people with developmental disabilities, recognizes their worth, affirms their ability to contribute, and strives to promote dignity in all relationships.
Description
We see those within our care as having the same basic needs and feelings that all people have. Our programs combine love and understanding with a professional approach to caring and teaching. By concerning ourselves with the "whole person", we encourage each person to grow physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. In working with the special population we serve, we take great care to treat each person in a highly individualized manner. From room furnishings to dress, to vocational options, we respect each person’s individual preferences, personality and learning style.
Roundup also holds high the value of enabling people with disabilities to be involved in the affairs of the community. Activities such as spectator events, shopping, using public transportation and working at regular jobs can and should be an integral part of the lifestyle of persons with developmental disabilities.
We set learning objectives for each person with an eye toward that person’s long range needs for life in society. The skills we teach are age-appropriate and are reinforced by the demands of daily living. By providing programs that are individualized, community-based, and goal directed, Roundup enables people to fully participate in the world around them.
