Fort Collins Habitat is celebrating its 25th anniversary this calendar year. When our staff met to talk about how we wanted to celebrate this milestone, we immediately thought of all the amazing stories that we've collected over the last 25 years. From resilient homeowners to generous volunteers and organizations, we realized that our work would not have been possible without the incredible support of the community that we get to call home. We decided that the best way to celebrate would be to showcase some of these incredible stories through an art exhibit.
Over the next few weeks, we have a variety of unique volunteer opportunities available to help us execute this event. From preparing our gallery to setting it up to helping us run our VIP cocktail party event, we need YOU to help us make this happen!
Available shifts include:
Exhibit set-up- Monday, October 8- 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
VIP Party indoor and outdoor set-up- Thursday, October 11- 12:00-5:00 PM
VIP Party food booth attendant- Thursday, October 11- 5:15-10:00 PM
VIP Party alcohol management- Thursday, October 11- 4:30-10:00 PM
VIP Party photo booth- Thursday, October 11- 5:30-10:00 PM
VIP Party online auction helper- Thursday, October 11- 5:30-10:00 PM
VIP Party busser- Thursday, October 11- 5:30-10:00 PM
Closing ceremony alcohol management- Saturday, October 13- 8:15-11:30 AM
Closing Ceremony online auction helper- Saturday, October 13- 8:30-11:30 AM
Exhibit tear-down- Sunday, October 14- 10:00 AM-complete

Seeking to put God's love into action, Fort Collins Habitat brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Description
Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity partners with local families to provide affordable homeownership opportunities. Families go through an application process to be selected and qualify by income, ability to pay a mortgage, residency, and willingness to partner. Once selected, families complete sweat equity by attending educational classes about homeownership and by building their home onsite alongside staff and volunteers.
The ReStore is another component of the organization. It serves as a fundraising enterprise to support Habitat' mission of providing affordable homeownership opportunities to local families. The ReStore operates as a thrift store that accepts donations from the community and sells them back at a lower cost.
