There are patients in Glendale, Surprise, and Sun City would appreciate visits from volunteers to talk with them, play games with them, read to them, or just be a friend to them. The benefits for the patients to have socialization are endless. Volunteering is very flexible, volunteers visit when they want, as often as they want, and the starting process is very simple. There is a brief orientation to begin and a needed tuberculosis skin test and drug screen (urine test) which Homestead can provide.
Patients will look forward to your visitation.
