This volunteer position is intended to help support the Volunteer Coordinator. There are programs the Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for throughout the year that are in need of additional assistance. This volunteer would assist the Volunteer Coordinator in delivering, planning, and communicating or promoting these programs. T

he Agency Program Support volunteer will help with the Adopt a Family program at Christmas time (October through December), appreciation events for volunteers, and other small but regular duties related to volunteer management and reporting. The hours requested would be about 6-10 per week. The duties would occur during the regular work week M-F. It may require some assistance in the evenings, but primarily daytime hours would be required.

ALIVE (Alternatives to Living in Violent Environments) is a domestic violence agency that serves St.Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Jefferson County and Franklin County, Missouri. We provide the following programs and services to individuals regardless of gender and sexual orientation: 24-hour hotline, Nights of Safety (Short-term emergency shelter,) Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Court Advocacy Systems, Advocacy Outreach, Services Education, Training Referrals, Transportation, Social Services, and Special Services.
