Thanksgiving Meal Bags for local families facing food insecurity

Would you volunteer to put together one or more bags containing Thanksgiving Meal ingredients for our Food Pantry to distribute to local families facing hunger and food insecurity?

This can be a volunteer assignment you can do, or with your family and friends, or co-workers, or members of your church.

We are looking for you to drop off your thanksgiving bags on Friday November 9th between Noon and 4pm OR
Saturday November 10th between 9am and Noon.

Deliver to: Keystone Opportunity Center, 104 N Main Street, Souderton PA 18964. Please park to the rear of our building - entrance off West Chestnut Street.

Please include all of the following items in a bag for easy distribution.
1 13-16oz box of instant mashed potatoes
2 cans of applesauce
1 box brownie or cake mix
4 cans of assorted vegetables
2 cans of fruit
1 can of icing
1 1lb can of coffee
1 small box of bisquick
1 64oz bottle of juice

Please no perishable items - instead we are looking for $25 gift cards to local food stores, Giant, Aldi, Henning's and Landis for the family to purchase their perishable items include a turkey.

Our goal is to provide over 200 bags to locals residents on November 12th.
