Workspace offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. We have more opportunities than can be listed on the form.
We have a woodshop, laser cutter and 3D printers, a sewing room, a film and performance space, arts area, etc. In all these spaces we would love to have volunteers available to assist students with projects. We would also love to have someone greet people at our front desk. We are also looking for people who would like to share a skill or talent they have. This could either a one time event or on an ongoing basis. Our volunteer positions range from easy to challenging. Call and us and we can determine if your skills will fit with our opportunities.
All volunteers will need to complete a background check.

Description
Workspace Education has been open since 2017, and it is not a school. Workspace Education is a community of parents, K-12 students, educators and professionals that is breaking new ground in alternative education. With a culture that encourages students to find their voice and the freedom to design learning opportunities that are interdisciplinary and agile, Workspace delivers not only the foundational litereacies, but also educations that are truly customized to the individual child. A 32,000 square foot fully tech-enabled facility surrounded by 600 acres of green space, Workspace is a creative sandbox. Students can master real-world skills and manifest almost any idea from the environmental sciences to robotics, and from ancient literature to the fine and performing arts.
