Dickson, we need you!

Guardian Hospice is currently looking for people who want to serve as Hospice Volunteers to our patients in the Dickson area and surrounding counties. Our patients could truly benefit from the companionship of a Hospice Volunteer who just want to sit and listen and be present for them. Hospice requires 5% of all patient care to be provided by Volunteers, so we can't keep our doors open without you!

We do require a background check and drug screen, and we do ask for a 6-month commitment.

Become a hospice volunteer & make a difference during the end-of-life experience! We are looking for dedicated volunteers to provide patient care & support including:

  • Reading

  • Talking

  • Singing

  • Holding a hand

  • Or just being present

As well as other opportunities including:

  • Music therapy

  • Massage therapy

  • Craft-making

  • Hair/nail services

Whether you have limited time or a more flexible schedule, we have rewarding opportunities available. We will provide training & education, & we will always support you in your hospice volunteer journey!

Guardian Hospice primarily serves Franklin, Brentwood, Nashville & Dickson.
