If you have an empathic heart and compassionate spirit for our veterans, please consider becoming a Hospice Volunteer. Whether you are a Veteran yourself or believe these individuals deserve some extra attention, youcan be invaluable to their 'end of life' journey. You could support elderly veterans in an assisted facility or their homes. We provide a parotic blanket and you could be part of a ceremony to give a recognition pin and certificate. This can be a powerful service for them. Your training would involve not only the hospice companionship portion but include various informational guidelines to use as needed.
