Are you a teenager in need of volunteer hours for high school graduation? Then look no further and join the Milwaukee Public Library Teen Volunteer Club!

Members of our Teen Volunteer Club have the opportunity to volunteer at our special events and programs throughout our thirteen library locations. From Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss and Slime Making events for children to guest author lectures and cultural presentations for adults, our special events are wildly popular across all age groups and we need your help to ensure all our guests have an excellent and educational experience.

As a Teen Volunteer, you’ll get an inside look at MPL and learn more about how the library operates while learning new skills and building up experience for your resume. By donating your time and skills you can help with a wide range of tasks including helping children with arts, crafts, and science projects, playing literacy games, welcoming guests, assisting library staff with event prep and setup, handing out prizes, and more.

Teen Volunteers are welcome to pick and choose what events work best with their own schedules. No experience required as training is provided on-site for all special events and programs.

To become a member, please fill out and return an Teen Volunteer Club Application at mpl.org/volunteer along with a signature from a parent or guardian. Completed applications may be submitted via email, mail, or in-person at MPL location.
