Disaster Action Teams (DAT) provide 24 hour emergency response to local disasters, particularly house fires, ensuring that those affected have access to resources for basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing.
The volunteer Disaster Action Team Leader is responsible for supporting and engaging volunteers assigned to the Disaster Action Team (DAT). The Disaster Action Team Leader, in collaboration with the Disaster Program Manager, will assist with the overall implementation of the DAT Program strategy within the chapter area.
