Quick Overview: Help us get the holiday season started on the right foot! We've got thousands of books that need to be wrapped and less time than you think to do it all!

Mission or Broader Program Description: Child Care Resource Center cultivates child, family, and community wellbeing.

Impact: with your help, CCRC will provide every child in Head Start a new toy and age appropriate book for the holiday season. Additionally, at our distribution event, children from the community have the opportunity to come to the office to participate in activities and take home a wrapped toy and book.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: Saturdays leading up to the holidays, volunteers will be wrapping and sorting books and toys that will be distributed amoungst the community. All materials will be provided.

Requirements: Volunteers must be 16 years of year or older and be able to lift up to 30lbs. Please remember to fill out a minor volunteer waiver form if minors (under 18) are attending projects. The form can be found on L.A. Works website Q&A section.

Additional Details: we will have giveaway goodies for all volunteers who donate their time.
