ORGANIZATION: ANOKA COUNTY RSVP

Join Springbrook Nature Center's Pumpkin Night in the Park! Springbrook Nature Center puts on a wonderful evening on all of it's beautiful trails with over 800+ carved and lit pumpkins! Volunteers are needed to ensure that this is a successful event!

October 14th through the 18th:

Pumpkin Gutters are needed! Adults 18+ only.
Volunteers gut out pumpkins using special drill bits to take out the gore of the pumpkins. Shifts are available from 9-12 or 1-4 pm each of the days. Click here to sign up for your preferred day: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508084aa5a82ba4ff2-pumpkin11

Pumpkin Movers/Gophers are needed to move pumpkins to and from gutting stations. Shifts are from 9-12 or 1-4. click here to sign up for your preferred day: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508084aa5a82ba4ff2-pumpkin11

Pumpkin Carving Managers are needed to check in community carvers, grease pumpkins (to preserve cut areas), stack and count pumpkins, clean up tables and carving tools, and help community carvers have a great time. This position does not carve pumpkins. Shifts are available from 11:45-2:30, 2:15 to 5:00, or 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Set-Up volunteers are needed on Friday 10/19 from 9-12 and 1-4 to place pumpkins on stands, move benches, set up tents, pound in fence posts and more! This is outside and volunteers would dress for the weather. Volunteers should also bring work gloves, water bottle and snacks if desired. Clean up volunteers are needed Sunday 10/21 from 11:00 am to 2:00 PM to join staff to help clean up pumpkin night in the park. Volunteers chuck pumpkins, remove stands, clean up electrical cords, pull out fence posts and more! Volunteers would dress for the weather and should bring work gloves.
